All our ewes have lambed as of April 20 and they are awesome!  I am soooo proud of Uther.  Every ewe lambed within a 2 week period.
.
Yaffa's lambs:  Arrived April 11, these lambs are out of my largest sheep. Yaffa is probably around 200lbs and is the largest Icelandic I have ever seen.  If you want to raise large Icelandics, consider these lambs.  Their sire is Uther, a ram Nancy at Ingleside Icelandics in Virginia considers one of the best she has ever bred.  Nancy paid $1000 for Uther's sire.
The first is an awesome ewe, solid very dark Moorit (brown) and will have horns.  She was on her feet and nursing in 15 minutes.  Birth weight: 8.25lbs.
The second is a ram, a dark Moorit Gray and has very large horn buds.  He looks like he will be the image of his sire Uther.  Birth weight 6.75.

Truffel's lamb:   As happens on any farm, there are sometimes little tragedies.  Truffel's beautifull 8lb moorit ewe lamb was still born April 9th.  It was a normal presentation and I could not tell there was anything out of the ordinary.  I did CPR but just could not get her to start breathing.

Talia's lambs:  Talia gave birth to twin ewe lambs, a dark moorit (7lbs) and a gray-moorit (7.25lbs).   Talia is my best fleece ewe and is out of Agnes, a huge ewe with an incredible udder.  I once got half a gallon in one milking from Agnes.  Both these lambs will probably be for sale.

Bindi's lamb:  This year instead of the expected twins, Bindi produced a 10.5lb striking gray-black mouflon ram lamb.  His horns are growing close and will need to be cut.  This ram is hand tame and would make a wonderful addition to a spinner's flock with his tri-color fleece.  Sold

Lamb Chop's lamb:   I am THRILLED to announce that Lamb Chop gave birth to an absolutely gorgeous pure white ram lamb!   He is cute as can be, but has small close growing horns.
